Snake Wrangler!

We've had the most perfect Sunday. It is my first day off since getting back from Texas so we've taken full advantage (because togetherness is a wonderful thing). Cliff keeps saying that it feels like we are on vacation. Yeah, the day is that perfect!

We slept in, woke up slow, made mimosas and pancakes, bacon and eggs. Then to the pool to layout, read, swim and back home to sit on our patio and enjoy. No chores today... just enjoying each other! We just got dressed up in clothes that we felt were vacation worthy ; ) and went out for an early dinner (a real treat b/c we've really been working on eating at home). We just got back home and as we are walking out of the garage Cliff says - WOAH a snake! So I ran inside for the camera! Cliff freed him from the garage and sent him slithering back into the woods. Ew, I still have the heebie jeebies.

Look how it fill up the entire photo! Cliff says they get like 6 feet long. Umm let's hope that he isn't partial to our garage.

I hope that your Sunday feels like a vacation.
: )

Ewww. What kind is he?
I killed a Copperhead in our garage once with a paint can. I couldn't be so humane with a poisonous snake!

you two look like you're on vacation, content and relaxed. sounds like a dreamy day you had.

the snake encounter would be creepy. where we live, snakes are all too common. we have ribbon snakes (black with long yellow stripes) who love our pond and all the froggies in it! those don't bother me a bit because they usually hide when they hear you coming and they're not poisonous. we've also had baby copperheads in our front garden, which make me a bit more nervous. they must know they're not welcome here because i haven't seen one since last year. i don't think i coulda smashed it with a paint can though! i'll just keep my flower beds clean n neat instead!

Great picture of you and Cliff together!

Snakes stink. The only good snakes are dead ones...especially poisonous ones..I'm with Kelli!

That is a very vacation-like photo of the two of you (pre snake?) looking sweet and relaxed. I would have been the one coaxing the snake out and shooing it away. James is a snake killer only. No mercy for snakes from him. That looks like a rat snake. If it is, you won't have any rodents. (Which do you prefer?)

Aww.. I am so flattered that you chose "that" dress to use as your vacation dinner dress.

And.... YUCKAMUNDO to the snake! I afraid to tell you that Kelley would have killed. Unfortunaley, we can't tolerate snakes around here...harmless or not.
