New York New York is it everything they say? Part 1 of 3

Why Yes it is!

I'm baaaaack from the Big Apple and ready to share my adventure!

First things first here's the LOUIE AWARD winning card! You can get yours here. The beauty behind the card (and most of the Curly Girl designs) is that they are considered 'everyday' and you could send it to your mamma any ole time you need to send some love! Tell em Lacy sent cha ;)

The LOUIE's ceremony was at Chelsea Piers where we were delighted to partake in a few libations and super tasty miniature food and of course a wee bit o dancing!

That little thing that looks like a toothpick on the far left is the Statue of Liberty! I'm pretty sure I lit up like a Christmas tree and jumped up and down when they pointed it out to me. It's the little things.

It was so beautiful as day turned to night.
Note to self: Must figure out how to take better night time photos.
I took advantage of the opportunity to wear my 30th birthday dress for a second time.
I mean c'mon it's much too cute to only get worn once and I think it looks much better on at 31 than it did at 30. Oh I'm getting better with age! Tee hee. And while we are at it HOW CUTE is Leigh in her Kate Spade dress with fabulous yellow shoes! If that dress doesn't say Curly Girl ready to win an award I don't know what does!

The nominated cards were all displayed on ribbons hanging from the ceiling.
My spot at our table. Ok that beef bbq sandwich was AH-MAZ-ING!
The dessert table was too cute. These are little cake pops.

Molly! Molly is the glue at Curly Girl, glue with glitter in it that is.
She runs the show and is completely delightful.
Leigh and her hubby Rob (far right) with Rob's cousin
Ian and his finance Amy (who are amazing by the way).

Leigh and her LOUIE!

Winning stuff is cool!
Part 2 coming tomorrow :)
xxoo Lacy
