Bon Iver

Hello Wednesday!
Hello everyone!

My brother-in-law gave me a Bon Iver CD ages ago. I've recently started listening to it again. It's one of those you can get lost in, sit and think and listen.  I love that kind of music...thoughtful and thought provoking.

I'm loving Ray LaMontagne's music. I discovered him through another blog months ago and it's been so cool to hear his music "pop" up in the most random places. It was playing in a hotel lobby this summer and then was featured on another blog I read two weeks ago. He has an old soul sound I can appreciate.

I have been loving Bon Iver lately. I just laid on my bed and looked out my window at the leaves for a solid half an hour listening to his music a couple days ago.

I am also loving Ray Lamontagne and Damien Rice (his CD entitled "O" is perfect for getting lost in).

Thanks so much, I've been looking for something else to listen to! Forgot about Bon Iver!

I love to get lost in Neko Case's last album, Middle Cyclone. Such poetic imagery and the music touches those deep dark parts of the soul. Truly haunting.

I'm glad that Iver has brought you joy. You know what brings me joy...knowing that I'll see your smiling face in less that a week:)

Bon Iver's music is purely magical. Kings of Leon's new CD, Come Around Sundown, is amazing and thought provoking as well.

I can't play the Bon Iver, but I have been listening to Mumford & Sons lately. I bought their CD 'Sigh No More' because I liked the name of the band, and because two of the instruments they are posing with on the cover are a stand up bass, and what looks like an electric mandolin. (I know:o)
