What do you love around your house?
Have a wonderful weekend!

p.s. Kayla has two really great posts this week that I want to share with you... one about our baby sister  (it's one of my fave stories from when she was a wee one) and one meaty one that you are sure to have an opinion on!

I love the colors in my house, especially the bright turquoise living room. I was afraid it would be too much, but I grow fonder of it every year.
And the big dark red tree in my yard, was actually part of the reason why I bought this house.
And my library in old wooden mineral-water boxes.
Just to mention a few. :-)

Ned is a ROCK STAR! I love the happy blue of my office walls, the picket fence beds my dad made for the girls and the collections displayed in my dining room. Thanks for sharing!

I loved this! What a great video. Your 10 things around the house are so wonderful with such a good story. I remember seeing your DNA print in a previous post and did some research on them. I hope to own one some day! Love that Ned too. Him purring at the end is adorable! :)

Sniffle...makes me miss you and your happy home. So excited to see you in December but so sad to think it will be the last time for 5 months... PROMISE ME you'll come see me in Spain??? Loving you lots tonight.

P.S. Thanks for the plug. You're too sweet. ;)

I love that Ned felt the need to have the last word! I also love the happy & busy desk in your office. It made me think of an article I read recently entitled, 'How I Learned to Love My Clutter'. (She realized in the course of writing that her 'system' was not really clutter at all.) Much like the author of the article, my home, and for me, my kitchen especially, look lived in and frequently used. It is warm and friendly, like the people in it. (The kitchen is one of my favorite places in my home. My polka dotted bowl is still my special happy treat bowl!)
