Ready, set, BOOO

Cliff had a scary mask.

We had scary music and candles on the front porch.

I prepared a lovely tray of (non candy) Halloween treats. And then...

NO one came! Booooo! So we hung up the ole mask, cuddled up with a fire roaring and house full of candles and watched NINE.   Loved it!

And that was Halloween 2010.
How was your weekend!?
Have a wonderful week!

You would have had such lucky trick or treaters! Glad you enjoyed your night just the same.

I sat amongst candles, under a witches hat, and watched Disney's Sleepy Hollow while the kids came trucking by. Such fun! :)

Did you turn your front porch light on? I know you had candles but the light has to be on too.

Those were very cute treats. We had about 30 and I aided in their sugar high. I know.. I'm sorry!

I love your non-candy items! So creative and healthy! Loving you and missing you today... everyday.... but especially today! ;)

I bought candy for James, but turned on the porch light in case any trick or treaters came by. (It's been 3 or 4 years since we had any.) If you did have any kiddos show up, Cliff would have to take the mask off to get them to take the treats if they were little ones.

We haven't had trick-or-treaters in 5 years no matter the status of our porch light. But hey, that's okay. More bubbles for you! :)

This happened to us the first year we were married....we didn't live in a very family-friendly neighborhood, and nobody came. But I didn't have such cute treats to give away. Last night one lady who opened the door had a scary mask like Cliff's, and Drew turned around and started crying!

mine was great because the kids thought the pencils and erasers were cool! i also had sticky frogs. they preferred these over the organic chocolates from trader joe's.
