This and that...

Hearing this song is always soul stirring for me and Aaron Neville always makes me think of my dad.  I heard it last week and I've been singing it in my head since then.

I'm still thinking and journaling about what my word for 2011 will be.  I'm over the hump of being stumped and I feel the word starting to reveal itself.  Do you pick a word of the year?  What's your process to uncovering it?

Off for another full day of training the new studio staff.
Hope your day is full of CRAZY LOVE!

I really like Aaron Neville, too! Probably your dad's influence...

I don't pick a word of the year because I am not quite as inspired and diligent as you. But, I do wonder sometimes why you don't just choose something simple like "purpose"? Just an Auntie Mary wondering of the day....

Happy word finding! AND.... happy almost Grand Opening Day!!!!

I have never heard Aaron Neville's version of this song before, but I have always loved Van Morrison's version. (I have a couple of versions by others also.) I don't have a yearly word, but I love that you and Kayla choose one each year! Your word will come to you, I have confidence.

Hmm...I've never had a word for the new year, but I do like the idea of that. I've had ideas and phrases, dreams and goals. Resolutions for personal revolutions. But never have they reduced themselves to a word. I think this year I just might though. I can almost feel it peaking at me from around the corner. We shall see what it turns out to be. :)

I love, love, love this song...but do not like Aaron Neville. Sorry, but it is true!

I am still working on my word. Sean even asked me about it today as a matter of fact. There are many things I would like to focus on this year but need to be realistic about it...still thinking. You'll know when you read the blog post!
